I will begin the lengthy and arduous process of upgrading the board software this afternoon. Most likely the board will be unavailable beginning around noon EST.

Good news Mr Admin!! We had a discussion awhile back about helping to fund the site and it kind of died, I doubt this software is free. Is there some way we can help?

Upgrade delayed until tomorrow.

The downtime should only be around three to four hours. Of course, that means it will probably actually run eight or nine.

Also - not to be impertinent, but - will we notice a difference? Will our lives be improved? Will the sun shine more brightly upon us?

An update to the ugprade has been released since I started the planning and finalized the testing. I am looking at the changes and trying to ascertain how important the fixes are. Do not be surprised if this does not get done today.

I think the charge will be 5 cents per post submitted. If that doesn't raise enough cash, we'll have to start charging by the letter!
