I understand there are two versions of the ES330: the original where the neck joins at the 16th fret and the late version (also reissued as the 330L) where the neck joins at the 19th fret.

My 535 looks great with and without.
However, I do prefer it on.

I had a nice Gibby ES-347. Now I have something that sounds better. A 535 with flamed bat-wing and ThroBak ER Custom pickups. If I wanted a 335 I'd have one.

Sorry our ally was not your kind of guy.
Just sayin'.

Welcome, Paolo.
It took a while for me to learn ASB and ALSB were Antique Sunburst and Almond Sunburst.

Thanks, Steiner.
Having married a troll and lived "Down Below" for some time now, i can almost blend in....except if there's PBR and pastys (not the strippers kind) being served. I'd be first in line.

Greetings all. Dave from Michigan here. I'm a native to the beautiful maple hardwoods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I believe Gibson and Heritage may have used some maple from that region.
Like PrairieDude, I'm hopeful of becoming a Heritage owner. I posted a Gibson ES 347 for trade in the Non-Heritage section. I imagine I'll need to sell it to buy a Heritage, since a trade is unlikely.
535 - what pickups?

I'm totally happy with ThroBak ER Customs in my 535., with their short un-potted A5's. Wound on vintage winder from old Gibson days. They deliver what the SD 59s didn't. Jon at ThroBak has them in his 535.
