  1. Welcome to the HOC , Tim... (fsbluz) We're glad that you came out of lurking and posted. Of course we will want to hear all about the new 535 !!! Interesting story that you have there about the frets on the Larry Carlton 335.... very interesting. Your old workhorse guitar , the 335TD , sounds like a nice axe... hopefully you bond with your 535 just as much. (or more) These Parsons St, Kalamazoo guitars have the mojo that Gibby had in the early days. I believe that you will be quite pleased...
  2. Welcome to the HOC , Bob You found a 535 with some nice specs there. I imagine that it is really sweet. Join in and tell us about your Heritage... . nice 535 pic there
  3. Welcome to the HOC , Bill (greybee). This is a great spot to get introduced to the Heritage mojo. Lurk away and even join in... Good luck, check out some posts or spend some time in the Gallery.. I find lots to like in there. And some of the newest Heritages are quite awe inspiring...
  4. Yeah, andybasic... Tell us more about the trip to Parsons St. and .... show us that axe!!! ( oh, and welcome to the HOC )
  5. Welcome sparkipeat and Duffy to the HOC. Pete, yes a neptune blue Heritage will get everyones attention.. beautiful finish. ( have you posted a pic yet? ) In the case of the muddy pickup, many would suggest replacements, I encourage you to spend time adjusting (height and polepieces) to verify that maybe you couldn't be happier with some fine-tuning to the pickup. But there are tons of great replacement pu's out there also. And yes it appears that pretty much everything is going out with the more conventional Tone-Pros hardware. I am one that doesn't mind the schaller, but find it looks different on styles that we are not used to seeing it on (especially the tailpiece) Duffy, Lots of interesting stuff there.. it is a great time to find a Heritage. The prices are great right now. Also.. if you guys want to see some cool Heritage pics... cruise through the Gallery. Lots of great pics in there.

  10. Hello EdPero ! Welcome to the HOC. That is an impressive and enjoyable list of guitars that you have. that is our usual tendency to write Gibbon( or Gibby ), here at this site... I love your signature, it made me laugh.... ( I just noticed that all of those underlined ..link to pictures, nice. At a quick glance your 150 looks like a 140 to me, but I will have to check again )

  15. If you decide to post a pic it is easy. First , click "add a reply" at the bottom of the page. Second, click "browse" button and find where the pic is on your computer Third, click "upload" and when finished uploading... Fourth, click " add reply" to post it... with your comments also. ( Franken-en-champ... the name made me chuckle.. and probably describes it as well as anything..)
  16. Welcome to the HOC, kc47. Yes, I am old enough to agree with the .. " if only we knew then..." statement. A select few that I wish that I had not sold back then. But it was fated that you find your 535, and a pleasant fate it is. Enjoy and we look forward to hearing from you....

  18. Hey there "Wheaties"... ( 212Mavguy ) Welcome to the HOC.,, There are a lot of interesting comments in your first post. Lots of nice amp set-ups. The silverface mods sound like you have created an amp nirvana, or at least you're getting there. There is an amp section if you feel the impulse to post more about it.... And the Heritages sound quite extraordinary... If you haven't posted pics yet... expect some requests to do so. The descriptions of each make the desire to see them more inviting...
  19. Hello... Draft, woodstalk, and ricksilvestri, WELCOME to the HOC... It's nice to see that a Heritage made it to Thailand... nice bass there. Cool sounding 535 with the versatile wiring... hard to beat that one... and , of course, the KB groovemaster is awesome ... And Rick, nice to know that you're putting the 157 through the paces.... We love to see pics....!!!!!
  20. That's the real deal.... a Heritage Gary Moore H150.... Very Sweet Guitar.

  23. Welcome to the HOC, Hiro... I can relate to the H150 admiration syndrome.. I always have a Heritage in view even when watching TV... Just makes a person feel good.....
  24. Thanks for the pics,Enrico, they came out just fine.... and that's a nice flamey top. A very sweet looking 150 with that top/finish. I had looked at one like it once , because I do like that combination. Congrats... And welcome to the HOC, Jericho941, Good luck with your future 150 search.... I'm sure that the 535 is a beauty, I need to add one of those to my list.... any Pics?
