  1. Oh man, sorry for posting the same video. I didn’t see yours and probably need to start using my glasses these days. Great video! I saw another one where Tim was playing the same guitar and suspected it was a heritage. Lucky guess.
  2. I watched the Eliot Easton video Tim did and suspected the guitar was a Heritage. Sounded so good and his playing is always top notch. He did this video on his own and purchased the guitar, although he added so custom touches. I didn’t know the H boys offered weight relief. https://youtu.be/JeHyHdgnfrU?si=ATYe6zflLK0hBJ8b
  3. I have two H535’s, both are from 1997 and both were purchased new (by me!). My ASB has been played less, and is in better overall shape but has the exact same neck binding cracks at each fret. You can’t feel it when playing and have to look close but they are there. My amber version has been played more but has no cracks. Both guitars were stored in my humidity controlled room and stored in their cases when not played. It’s just something that happens and I’m sure my other guitar will eventually develop them over time. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a guitar with those micro cracks. As long as binding isn’t separating and the cracks aren’t noticeable when playing. I’ve seen acoustic guitars have binding separate from the body, that’s a different matter.
  4. A work of art! Thanks for the palate cleanse after the import thread. Your guitar represents true Heritage. I have two H535’s and love both, but they aren’t going to compete in a beauty contest with your guitar. I’ve never warmed up to mini-hums but that neck is amazing.
  5. This is sad to see. I wish they would have developed a “value priced” brand like other companies have done (Epiphone, Squier, LTD, etc.). The guitars look like cheap Asian bolt on neck, poly monstrosities, and it sucks to see the Heritage name on the headstock. Say what you want about Gibson, they never whored out their main brand. At least they aren’t dumb enough to do it today. Coming up with a unique brand name can be tricky. Maybe they could just put a W in front and swap the E for a O. Whore-atage would be more appropriate for this venture. Hope the guys contact me for future brand suggestions. I’ll work for free.
