  1. Hi everybody this is Paolo from Rome Italy. I'm a new forumer but I was playing my H 535 (1991) from almost last 7 years. Always being so in love with this really great guitar.

One strange fact and one question: in the f hole the sheet says "natural" but mine is black (but it seems not to be a refinished guitar at all); and now the question is: can I found somewhere the pickups specs? On detail I would like to know something specific about magnets, wire material etc.

I play through a IBANEZ THS 15 all tube 15 watt head and a custom made cabinet with two celestion vintage 30 speakers. Fender Boss 63 de luxe reverb; EH small clone chorus; Ibanez analog delay; Giovanetti Marshall in a box pedal. I own also a Gibson Les Paul traditional 2009 and a really fantastic Squire custom Telecaster

    classic vibe.

Thanks and cheers for all good people

Welcome aboard! This is a great group.

Try and post some pictures of guitar and and the label. We will get the answer to this.

  2. Hi gang. I'm a new member and just signed up today. I'm actually a former Heritage guitar owner. I had a Johnny Smith, a Golden Eagle and an H575. I sold the guitars years ago and have regretted that decision ever since. At some point in the future, I'll be attempting to get myself a Golden Eagle and rectify the huge mistake I made.

Welcome aboard! Good luck on your quest for a new Heritage. The hunt is half the fun.

  3. Hello everybody,

name's Daniele, and even if my name ends with an "e" I'm a guy. My profile pic should be enough to prove it ;)

I've been playing guitar for a little while now, at a pretty basic level, but from me it's all about having fun with some friends. Rock, blues, even some metal.. after some Strats and one Gibson Les Paul I joined the dark side as I fell in love with a gorgeous H150CM. I'm actually thinking of getting a black beauty H157, but here in Italy they aren't that easy to find (and money is pretty tight).

Well, that said, I'm sure I'll be able to find a bunch of nice people here. Cheers, e buona giornata!

Welcome aboard Daniele! You will find a bunch of fine people and guitars on this forum.

All of them very passionate about their gear and music. We all like pictures of these great guitars. Hint

  4. Hi, my name is Gary. I ordered my first Heritage(535) last Tuesday and have gone to sleep thinking about it each nite since.

I've gigged playing drums since age 13 alongside folks playing what are now vintage Fenders and Gibsons and always was fascinated by their look and sound. Now I've been taking guitar lessons for 2 years and i decided that since the price of a vintage 335 is way out of my reach, why not have a new guitar made by some of the same guys who made the originals. Makes perfect sense to me! Look forward to having it in my hands next time I post.

Welcome aboard Gary. You are going to love your H-535. You'll be able to play a variety of genres with it.

Just remeber we crave pictures here!

  5. I have been lurking here and really like the site. I am a US service member serving overseas and started playing guitar late in life. I am 42 and have been playing for about a year. I have been watching ebay to find an h-150 that I like and can afford. They really seem like great guitars and I want to try to support as many US businesses as I can.

My guitar collection is pretty modest right now: an Epiphone EJ-200 acoustic and a Gretsch 5120.

Welcome aboard. First I want to thank you for serving our country and

help protecting it. I commend you!

I too started playing late in life, 40 for me. I've enjoyed every minute since

I started playing. I bought my first Heritage from Elderly music, a H-555.

You will find a great bunch of people on this sight. They know Heritage inside and

out. Good luck in your search for your first Heritage. You will love it.

    Stay safe

  6. Hi my name is Paul, skydog52 on this fun forum. I started playing late in life 40ish, I am now 53.

I enjoy playing when ever I can. I am not that great a player but I am improving and guess what

the lesson I preach to my kids is practice makes perfect. (It actually works!) I first heard about Heritage

guitar when channel 7 in Detroit did a story on the great fellows there. I bought my first Heritage in 1992. A H-555.

I ordered it from Elderly in Lansing. It is the guitar I pick up first and play. I have recently ordered and received

a H-157 and a Millennium DC,  I ordered those from The Music Man in Brighton dealing with the owner Mike who

has always treated me right. I have owned quite a few guitars and the Heritages have always been the best quality,

especially for the price. I am going to try and make the trip in July. Look forward to meeting all you H owners.

Pick it up and play ;D
