According to an email I just got from Heritage Guitars, only 5 - 10 of these guitars were ever built! -
I purchase this 480 in 1992 when I was 18. It has a piezo pickup installed, I do not have the original pegs, and I had a clear pick guard put on in 1996-7 because the body was getting scratched. I have played this guitar a lot. It has such a unique sound! I am a professional musician, have a music degree (guitar emphasis) and teach high school band. This guitar has been an amazing work horse instrument for almost 20 years now. When I bought it, I new that is was a rare guitar and I have treated it accordingly all these years.

Hello, I'm John, I live in Alaska and I own a Heritage 480 (acoustic model #HFT-480-N). I purchased the guitar in 1992 when I was 18. I still play the guitar and the tone has gotten much warmer over the years. Does anyone out there have one of these guitars or know much about them?
