  1. Hello, I'm 32 and have been playing since 2007 after about a solid three or four years of going back and forth about it, wondering if I'd stick with it. Since I started playing, I haven't looked back and I am excited to say that I ordered a Heritage H157 back in August and the anticipation is almost too much to take some days. This will be my first U.S. made guitar and I am really looking forward to bringing it home and plugging her in! I currently own a G&L Legacy Tribute and Asat, both very solid guitars; but I always loved the classic LP design and sound, so after discovering Heritage at my local dealer in Edwardsville, IL (Mojo's, they are simply the best) I knew I had to have one. I've been lurking on this site for a few months and through all of the stories and pictures I've seen here, I have full confidence that I made the right choice.

    Welcome!

Cant wait to see your H 157!!!!

  2. Newbie to the club. I have a '93 Prospect Natural, plus other non-Heritages, too (an old Ibanez 2630, Eastman John Pisano, various Strats and Teles plus basses).

Gonna surf this site for a while gettin' some learnin' on....

    Cheers!

(crappy phone photo, better to come)

    Congrats on the Prospect!

    Welcome!!!

  3. Hi, I'm John McIntyre, new Heritage Owner. I bought a 20th Anniversity Heritage 150 from a dealer in Dallas, Texas in March. It is the best guitar I have ever played. I knew immediately I was going to have GAS with Heritage products. In fact, I just bought a 1998 Heritage 535 from a guy here in Austin, Texas. It has the HWR pickups and D-VIP swithching. I have been traveling for work so have to played it much but the few times I have it was awsome.

don't play in a band just at home for fun. Love Blues and Classic rock. A couple of hours of playing songs is very relaxing..

Haven't had a chance to take pictures to post but will this week-end as I need to post some guitars on EBay. I can't play them all and the Heritages are now at the top of the list.

I would love a 150 with P90's. But I haven't actually told my wife I bought that 535 ( it was a great deal and I would have been an idiot to pass it up)so I need to work through that before I add another guitar to the collection...

I really enjoy reading the comments and seeing the pictures of everyones guitars. keep them coming..

Welcome John! I am also a 20th Ann H 150 owner...GREAT GUITAR!!! The D-Vip system is pretty cool, isnt it?

  4. Hello All,

I am the new owner of a H150 CM Classic VSB. I was a Les Paul player and always had this nag in the back of my head about the newer build techniques. I decided to sell the Les Paul and get a Heritage. It is eveything I expected and then some. A real work of art an amazing tone. It is a 2000 with Duncan 59's.

I am enjoying reading and learning from the board.

  5. My H-150 has a pretty strange tailpiece and bridge that came with it, doesn't look like the Schaller hardware that I think Heritage installs at the factory. There's a broken Schaller bridge in the neck compartment, I don't know the history of it.

I'm thinking about changing to a Tune-o-matic with GraphTech string saver saddles, and a stop tailpiece.

    Whadd'ya think?

never seen a tailpiece like that before??

  6. Hi guy, Im new here, saw a pic of the H-137dc and now I want one. :D

Welcome....i know how you feel...i have one on order and the wait is killing me.

If you really want one now is the time to go to your local deal and order one!!! Wait time is low, quality is high and you will have a great guitar in your hands!!!

  7. Hi everyone, my name is Gary and I am from Baton Rouge, LA. I have a 2000 150 (orange translucent(I think)) I bought from a friend who special ordered it. I drooled over it for years and when opportunity knocked....

I started playing acoustic when I was about 13, but never took it seriously. When I got married 15 years ago I quit playing. Now after two years of divorce I have really been spending a lot of time playing and really love the feel of my Heritage. I play local open mic nights and have about 45 songs (90's acoustic grunge mostly). I just started learning lead. (I bought the 150 over a year ago and didn't play it until another friend gave me a 1980 Electra x260 Invicta he had sitting in the case in his closet FOR 30 YEARS!!!) I don't know why but THAT guitar I started playing, THEN I started playing my heritage. Don't get me wrong, I like my Electra, its a machine, they are just really different.

Anyway, I turn 48 on the 1st and have promised myself I will learn the central lead of Yellowledbetter by then. (Promise made 4 months ago). I'll let ya'll know how that worksout.

I love my guitars!!! Glad to meet those of you with similar passions.

    Gary aka GarysMic

    Welcome Gary!

Nice to say hello to all of you!
