  1. Hello everyone. My name is Bill (bilbal) and I am new to Heritage Guitars and the Owners Club. I am going to pick up my first Heritage (H535 Classic) tomorrow afternoon. I am extremely excited to get her. Here is a quick picture:

The new Heritage will be the newest addition to my gear. I also have a James Trussart Steelcaster, Modulus Graphite Blackknife 3H, Composite Acoustic Legacy Performer, American Strat, Godin Freeway Floyd, and a Tokia Telecaster. For amplifiers I use a Soldano SLO and a Vox AC50. I also use Creation Audio Labs, Fuchs Audio Technology, Korg, and Lexicon effects.

I look forward to meeting new people and discussing gear. I also look forward to helping in any way I can.

    Sincerely,

    bilbal   :)

    Welcome Bill.... :)

Very nice 535!  thanks for posting a pic! ;D  let us know what you think of it.

  2. Hello everyone,

My name is Bob and I'm from Southeast Michigan!

I had plans to purchase a guitar that slightly resembles a Heritage, I forgot the name. I think it started with a G or something like that. But I have decided to buy an original Heritage instead. I have lot's of questions though, so I'll be posting them elsewhere. Glad to meet everyone and thanks for letting me join the forum.

    Welcome Bob! ;D

  3. Jorgen ...

I'm afraid I have given in to temptation and Heritage number 4 is on the way , a Prospect in Antique Sunburst ...

I was also aided and abetted by a certain prominent HOC member not unfamiliar to yourself ...

I am right in the middle of a particularly bad attack of GAS and will be eating jam and bread for the next few months  ;D

man that thing is sweet...you will be amazed when you see it in person ;D

  4. Hey everyone, thought I'd join in.

My quest for my first Heritage guitar has lead me to this very forum, where I am in hopes of landing a nice H-150. Never played Heritage before, to my knowledge they aren't even sold anywhere in Iowa. It seems the gleaming reviews and the history behind these guitars is really all I need. Right now I play an Edwards Les Paul through my Orange Tiny Terror, great guitar, but I'd love to make the step up to a Heritage.

    WELCOME OJ!!!!

there are a bunch of nice 150s on ebay fro VERY good prices...take your pick!!!  but dont wait too long, prices are on the rise

  5. Hi all,

My name is Greg and my handle here is Zydecosoultrain.  I read postings on this site fairly regularly to learn about this rather unusual guitar manufacturer.

I've been taking a jazz lesson each week for some years now, making glaically slow progress but enjoying it immensely.  About 2 years ago I replaced my Ibanez AS80 with a heritage H-535.  The Heritage had come into Australia in a shipment by a guy who imports second hand Stratocasters. I had to order the heritage without ever seeing one because heritages are as rare as hen's teeth in this part of the world. I got some good advice from Ren at Heritage and took the risk. After some work on the nut and some oil on the fretboard the guitar is perfect, I can't fault it. Great, warm tone from the combuination of Seymour Duncan jazz (neck) and JB (bridge).  Wonderfully comfortable neck and great resonance.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you guys over the next few months.

    Greg

    Welcome Greg!

i have a good friend in western australia, cottesole...i ship gear for him in the usa!  it is good to hear from you and glad you are a member of the HOC!!!

post some pics of your 535!!!!

  6. What's up Guys!

My name is Dave and I'm a new Heritage owner. (Hi Dave!)  BrentRocks just shipped me a 1997 H 150 Deluxe and I got it in the mail today.  WOW!!!!!  What a solid, well built guitar!!  This is my first "Les Paul" type guitar.  A friend of mine has a G**** Classic LP and this feels 1000% times better (those are relatively cheap anyways).  I'm glad to have a quality hand built instrument that's made the way they're supposed to be made.  I can't wait to plug it in and let her rip!  If I don't like the SD 59s I'm going to put a set of Bill Lawrence L80s in there.

I'll be sure to let everyone know how the first play goes!

    Dave

    WELL..... ;D

  8. Hi Folks,

My name is Tom, I live in Largo Florida, and I just bought a Heritage 150 on Ebay last week and received it over the weekend. I am ecstatic, I have longed for one of these for a long time ever since seeing a gold top at a local blues jam here in Florida.. Mine is trans black. I don't have any pics yet, but here is a picture of it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...N:IT&ih=006

I hope to be a contributing member of this forum for a long time.

It has Black Back Pickups in it, I assume they are an add on, does anyone know??  I will put up a pic by the weekend.

    Thanks Tom

This is the 150.  It is not blueburst it is of my own design.  Sorry boys you won't be buying this color.

It has a yellow middle with just enough blue to feather into a green.  An absolute masterpiece!!

I also added abalone dots in fret board,  abalone truss-rod cover, and inlay on head stock.

    Thanks for the welcoming!!

are you saying if we were to order a guitar, we couldnt get that color?  it is really cool!!!!
