Ive been poking around and checking out things, kicking tires and flicking switches for the last few days. Seems like 2024 is quite sound! Looking forward to getting a few miles in it before I make any real judgement.
Having said that, I was happy to just tootle around in 2023 for a bit longer, I quite enjoyed it. Sometimes I dont feel like we need a new year, the one being replaced seems unfinished or perfectly fine for a few more years. I honestly think 1994 couldve run for at least a decade.Have a good one.

Ok , I'll tell you about who I am...... but a question first. Why am I the only one with a WARN meter? I am not sure what it means , but it makes me nervous. What if it goes up? Can I send a check to someone to have it reduced? I read and re-read my posts before posting them. Why? the warn meter. I have never damaged the substance or impugned the reputation of any blog or site... but you must be very carefulllllll.....
I have already talked with a couple of you ..... I'm Fred and near Cincinnati Ohio. I have lots of variety of guitars. My Heritage guitars are in the gallery, both are H-150CM. I fell into my first one on Craigslist and am hooked . Maybe a semi-hollow next time? I see some tops on those that are really amazing. But it's the sound and the way a quality guitar feels that really makes it.....
( see how nice I can be...)
Well you must've p***** off some one
Everyone has the warn meter. But you can only see your own. It should read zero %.
Welcome by the way.

It looks like a hostile work-place, full of sexual innuendos and loud noise. Probably tons of the opposite gender rotating through asking to see your "wares". Can I apply on-line?
Actually.......you've summed it up perfectly. Im not kidding either. Some days I just ache to get back out in the weather and do some serious graft on a construction site. Not. Dont know how I did that for so long.

They aren't mine. This is my work environment. Sucks huh. Funny thing for a grown man to do.

Hi Im Roddy, a Scotsman now living in Australia,I have been gigging since the sixties.
I had a 535 back in the UK ,but foollishly sold it a couple of years ago, after finding the HOC I posted a wanted add for a 535 in Aus, I now have a great natural 535 with HRW Pups. Thanks to HOC member Tully.
I will be gigging next week in the Adelaide Hills,
The Hills will be alive to the sound of a 535. could be a song or a film in that one.

he is a guitar player too...he plays Ernie Ball stuff....he had me buy him a special laser transit on ebay and ship it to him a while back. is that the kind of work you are in, construction/arcitechture?
i have also shipped amps/guitars/FX to him from the US
In a previous life I worked on a lot of the big projects in the city and around the state.
I may know him through what I do now but if he's buying all his gear OS's probably not.

do you know a bloke by the name of Clayton Austin?
I know a couple of Claytons through work but only on 1st name basis.
I can find out.
Other than that I think theres about 1.8 million living in Perth metro area. Not huge by some standards but big enough to hide a few Claytons

Brain? Is that you?
Pinky: Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?
The Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.

Have fun there. Bit of a hike for me. I live in Perth, Western Australia.
I think Im going to be on your continent around August/ September though.
Part of a world domination thing Ive been working on.

Hi from Perth Dan,
Congrats on your new purchase.
Ive been watching Jacksons Heritage sale with more than a little interest. Some real bargains.
I hope you find the same joy in your 170 as Ive found in my 150.
-
Welcome Wally.
That guitars actually pretty cool in a minimalist kinda way.
Thanks for posting pics of it.

Like I said, I am trying to resist. Maybe one you guys could explain to me why I shouldn't want one of these instead of a Gibson?
Thanks,
Hank
Because......... Its an intangible thing.
Just play a few and see what you come up with.
Not very good as a sales guy am I ;D
Korina, P90's. How cool is that

Hey superbuffer, thanks, great work.
Have to see some pics of the 170.

Hi Jukka.
I work in a guitar store. Ive worked there a couple of yrs now.
Im still finding stuff stashed away from yrs ago. The warehouse upstairs is full of hidden treasures and some pieces of crap.
We have a Godin bass on the wall thats been sitting on the wall that while it is a great playing and sounding bass, it has been overlooked in favour of more popular basses that are probably lesser quality but better known brands. Its been sitting there since 01.
If some one looks past the headstock they will get a great bass at a great price.
Also on the wall is a PRS cu24 thats been there 5yrs. I found some digitech rack fx units from the 90s ;D Noisy and shrill sounding things they are. They almost count as vintage ;D Going to be worth a fortune shortly.
I think Heritage may be one of those things that get over looked. Actually, I "know" they get over looked. Because people are stupid, flighty, and image conscious. Pisses me off. Some wont even pick one up and try them. I leave one in the amp room now so that they have to if they want to demo an amp. People that buy Heritage are generally looking for a good guitar rather than a brand.

Wow, looks great. Just thinking about a 535 as well. This is a great finish.

Hi all,
My name is Greg and my handle here is Zydecosoultrain. I read postings on this site fairly regularly to learn about this rather unusual guitar manufacturer.
I've been taking a jazz lesson each week for some years now, making glaically slow progress but enjoying it immensely. About 2 years ago I replaced my Ibanez AS80 with a heritage H-535. The Heritage had come into Australia in a shipment by a guy who imports second hand Stratocasters. I had to order the heritage without ever seeing one because heritages are as rare as hen's teeth in this part of the world. I got some good advice from Ren at Heritage and took the risk. After some work on the nut and some oil on the fretboard the guitar is perfect, I can't fault it. Great, warm tone from the combuination of Seymour Duncan jazz (neck) and JB (bridge). Wonderfully comfortable neck and great resonance.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you guys over the next few months.
Greg
Hey Greg. I live in Perth W.A. Theres two Heritage dealers over here. I think youll start seeing more pop up all over Australia now.
They are awesome guitars, I love them. I told my wife I absolutely adored my 150 and she shook her head and walked away
