It is unnatural for any corporation to not seek to increase their revenue. Resting on their laurels, never an option. I /we should be happy 225 Parsons is still building great instruments. Affordable 137 and 150s to new players who might wish to trade up to a Kalamazoo, that's a good thing.

Guess sneakers cost half of a H137.

Here I was thinking Rem Wall playing jingle bells broke the internet.

Like other long-time Heritage fans, I'm glad I scored these and other models back when they were less expensive...even after adding custom upgrades. ?
Bloody well right Tim!

Concerning being OCD, me thinks you don't have all your badges yet.
I have three Heritage gits with P90 and this is my take.
Unlike with humbuckers p90 do not have rings to adjust pickup height, you have adjustable screws for each string that appear REAL close to the strings and therefore limit how much you can lower the action.
This appears due to the top carve and set neck angle.
My concerns (additional) would be the lack of clearance as the strings just clear the back of the bridge and thus you could not deck the tailpiece.
The bridge has anchors that limit lower adjustment that can be removed and replace with screws. The saddles on the treble side can be filled down.
The bottom of the bridge can be filed too. On my P90 gits having similar issues I replaced the stock hardware (I am MORE OCG) with Fabar AB-1 bridges that are more narrow and thus provide more clearance at the rear and have direct replacement screws without the anchors.
As you love everything else, you may want to work on some fixes rather than exchange and hope the replacement is perfect. As these are mostly handmade, neck angle and top carve will differ.
Good luck!

Hi all! I'm Jeremy.
I just ran across a Pre-lawsuit 1996 H-150 at Music-go-Round and just had to buy it because it's such a cool little piece of history. It's cosmetically pretty banged but the Cherry Burst flame top is still gorgeous! I made the shop take the pickups out to assure they are original. All is as it was built in 1996 with the exception of one volume pot. The switch is sticky and the pickups are a bit dark and muddy. Also, the volume knobs don't turn the volume down as evenly as I'd like. I don't want to modify this thing since it's as old and cool as it is but I'm very tempted to upgrade the electronics. Is that considered sacrilegious??
Very fine top! Thanks for posting photos

Pretty
I liked the "before" look and the cutaway completes it.

What a great story on that dreadnought! 140's are also underrated.

Got a H-137 on order ... expecting it in about a month ... excited!
Currently I mostly play Music Man Albert Lee, Strats, Teles, and I do have a Les Paul. Been hankering for the 137 ever since seeing (and hearing) John Bohlinger's gear review on it. I play mostly blues and rock, some country. Intermediate ability, not presently in a band.
Really looking forward to this guitar!
Good on you. Hope it makes you happy.

Thanks for joining our club G-Bob. Sounds like you got a very special 535. I can't speak for the other members but I sure would like to see some pictures and hear about the appointments.

Hello, my name is Chris and I recently joined the forum. I've been lucky enough to go on two factory tours and meet the great folks in Kalamazoo.
I have a TV yellow H-137 and recently ordered a Honey Lemon H-157W.
I really enjoy the info here and am totally hooked!

Great collection you are starting. Would you share details on the 157W?

I'm Kenny V from Cleveland, OH. I took the Heritage Guitar tour a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with the H-535. I don't own a Heritage at the moment but I have been looking for one. I was thinking of buying a H-535 with two Seymor Duncan Humbucker 59's. I have noticed a combination of the humbucker 59 in the neck position and a Seth Lover Humbucker in the bridge position on line. I play at lot of American song book music and jazz, but occasionally 60's rock. I'm looking for some feedback from H-535 owners about their guitars and choice of pickups. My current go to guitar is a Gibson ES335 with classic 57 pickups. I love the sound of this guitar and pickup combination. For the record, I have taken the Gibson factory tour in Memphis and the Heritage tour is far superior. I highly recommend going to Kalamazoo and go on a tour of the factory.
Thanks
KennyV4 Welcome to the HOC. I suggest you pose your pickup choice questions under the Heritage guitar section. Are you planning a new build?

Welcome to our club. You will be asked to post a photo of your 150 and 535 so we can all admire your starter collection.

Stunning! The color and pickguard looks like early 1960s 335..

MR555 - Don't remember anyone here having a 30th...
Enjoy your first Heritage and post some photos before the other HOC send the "picture of it never happened" posts.
