  1. I just want to say this is a really sweet guitar. My only complaint is the V/T controls are a little tight. The guitar itself is a winner and very fine example of The Heritage 'early years' based on my limited, but nearly a dozen 'early years' H150s. I'm glad I was able to add this one to the flock!

  2. I find the PRails to be nice with this guitar.  I'm not going to change a thing!  I have a LP JR, but nothing with 2 P90s.  I like it!  I sold a H137 to someone here years ago.  $1000.  Always regretted.

The binding on my H140 is about 1/16 of an inch.   My 535 is slightly thicker than the 140.

I think I remember Heritage buying 90 thousandths binding, but then after painting,  all binding is hand scraped, so it will be somewhat thinner than that.  You might lose 1/4 of that original .090.   Of course the hand scraping won't be absolutely consistent,  the thickness will vary depending on how much has to be removed to get a clean surface.

I don't see anything unusual at all about that one.

Thanks for responding.  I'm kinda stuoid and don't understand this tech stuff.  Just wondered why the binding is so friggin' thick.  Again, a meaningless question. They build quality guitars.  I don't.

  4. WOW!  Thanks my HOC experts!  I really appreciate your combined wealth of experience!

i'm glad I picked this guitar up.  No plans to change electronics, but I do have a Gibby Historic Bridge and Tailpiece I might pull out of the closet.

Glad to be a 'legit' member of HOC again.  Hi Milliniuim! 😵

  5. Thank you.  I've had many Heritage guiters over the years.  Some had labels.  Some didn't.  Some had labels with no signatures.  Like Gobson ~ all over the frigging board!  I'm glad I got this 2003.  I'm old school.  Hoping a little extra 'care' was put into the build knowing it was a custom order for a friend of Ren Wall.

Thanks all!  ASB looks really close.  Yep, I'll check the label.  I've been wanting another Heritage for awhile.  Then the 59 Replica came into the picture.  Then this one popped up at a great price.  I scratched both my itches.  I have to start selling one of these days!  Or at least quit buying!  I am out of room!  i'll start tripping over them and knock one over breaking a head stock! :BangHead:

  7. Just picked this up from Nick Hall.  Looking forward to hearing those P Ralis!

And the 'Heritage' of this guitar is impressive too.  I'm surprised no one snapped it up before I did.  I'm glad I have another Heritage H150 in the fold.  It's been years! 😎
