PunkKitty Posted October 11, 2015 Share Posted October 11, 2015 Replace the pot with a CTS 500k audio pot (A taper). Working on semi hollows is tricky. You will need to remove the wiring harness to do it. If you are having problems with it, take it to a good repair shop and have them do it. Blunote Posted October 11, 2015 Share Posted October 11, 2015 If it's one of the pots closest to the f-hole, you may be able to snake it out far enough to replace it. Even then it might be too easy to get sloppy with solder and screw up the guitar's finish. Sometimes a good guitar tech is the best option.
