jimsoloway Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 There's a mahogany Eagle available at what appears to be a very attractive price (at least in part because of the collapse of the Canadian dollar). I know it's a much bigger guitar than I like, but I've thought for a while that the mahogany body might be a good fit for me tonally. But I know several things about you: You like the mahogany body on your long scale 575 and the Eagle has the long scale length you like (I think). But you've said you don't like the larger body guitars, so that would be a minus for you. On the other hand if you found a way to get along with the body size you'd probably get on with it quite well. How do you feel about floating pickups?
