Especially the quick rolling off the stages etc. (easy in and outs, fast setups and stage clearing) well, anything with rollers makes that job easy enough these are great with a combo it's more the getting in/out of the car & house ( stairs ) that is a pain in the ass Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bolero Posted March 7, 2017 Author Share Posted March 7, 2017 My Hughes and Kettner Tube 20 has a redbox DI built into the back. stage volume is fine, and that suckers sounds absolutely huge in the audience.no 4x12 in this universe can compete with a full sound system. ah, good idea...I have an H&K redbox around here somewhere! I had never seen one with a straight front before but bought it on sight because (it was cheap and...) I knew I could place it nicely under my Mesa Mark Five:25. It comes with a single Mesa Vintage 30 speaker and it is rated for 60 watts with a single 8 ohm input. That is now the smallest and lightest gigable guitar amplification solution that I own. We love our gain, don't we! hahaha.... well the problem is, I am playing the JTM45 + 4x12 clean and only using pedals for dirt, in the places we will be playing kind of defeats the purpose who the hell can crank a 30-50w amp up anywhere, these days??
