Heritage Guitar Family Photos

HANGAR18

Recommended Posts

So, the idea for this thread is to submit one photo which shows all of your Heritage guitars in the same photo. Due to the guitar collection changing from time to time, I don't think I have a current photo matching this description, but I'll upload one when I get a chance. Until I get around to doing that though, here is a photo that doesn't count because I clearly joined three separate photos together into a single picture, but it does represent my current Heritage guitar collection.

So, game on?

I bought this H-140 in 1990 (the EMG 81/85 set was already installed).  Sold it to a friend about a year later, who sold it to another mutual friend.  He used it in his country western band, gigging hundreds of times over several years.  Well, to make a long story short, I got it back last weekend, after 28 years - he gave it to me as a gift!  Pretty awesome gift if you ask me!  It's the easiest-playing of all my guitars.  It was produced around mid-1986.  I remember paying around $700 for it in 1990 (used); I have no idea what they're worth now, but I love this guitar.  It still has the original case, which by now has obviously been around the block a few times....

PS: Sorry for breaking the "one photo" rule.  It's my only Heritage and I couldn't stop taking photos of it...

Long story short.........I traded 5 Heritage Guitars for a Bitcoin.

oooh, cool. Aged Nickel, or Polished??

Seriously though...that some change. Hope the 357's worked out for everyone. But not the Prospect...never the Prospect.

Yes sir.....no doubt a risky/most likely idiotic asset reallocation on my end! Who knows though..... a few years from now that Bitcoin might afford me the ability to buy myself a nice Collings. B)

The 4 Heritage Guitars that are left are my 'cold dead handers'.
