2017 H535 - bridge

Recommended Posts

hi all

i have a 2017 H353, and the low e string tends to fall off the edge of the fretboard during bends.  i was thinking of tossing a new bridge saddle in the bridge and slotting it just slightly off center to see if that makes things better.

does anyone know which tone pros bridge saddle would be appropriate for this?

thanks!

I do not have advice on bridges but I would like to hear how things go for you.

Sometimes on the 2nd fret of the high - pitched e string my 550 will slip, when playing a B7 or something.

I think this is because the bevel of the frets is way too long .

For now, I just focus on playing my chords in that area more precisely and it is not an issue.

The nut spacing maybe off. Check that fist. Then move to the bridge. It is quite the bridge slotting might be off. You might not have to replace anything. It may very well be just some adjustments.
