rockabilly69
In the NAD thread and my demo post, I called my new Clark amp a "Beaumont", it's actually a Beaufort, I must have been drunk typing:) For those who want to know about the Clark... http://www.clarkamplification.com/beaufort.html

Tulkus, it's really a good amp. The more and more I goof around with it in my studio, the more I'm hearing cool things. The thing that I like most is the complex clean tone. It's saturated in harmonics. I don't really go for really dirty tones so you would think I would like a little more headroom, but the volume where this amp gets interesting sounding is totally reasonable and I love that. It makes it really fun to record, or just play without blowing your ears out. The other night I soldered in some new pots in one of my Zemaitis guitars and I was comparing all three of them. And the Clark really brought out the best tones in all of them. As you can see in this picture, I was playing around with a Fender Reverb unit (actually a true vintage style clone with a 6K6 handwired circuit that a friend of mine built for me), and it was the most fun I've had in a long time...
