NGD...2017 H150

I never thought I would buy a "newer" Heritage, but after playing a 2019 last week, I have come to the realization that Heritage is stepping up their game!

This one is a NOS 2017.

It sports the typical features of an H150...

One piece Honduran mahogany back and neck
SUPER FLAMED out carved maple top
Rosewood board with MOP traps
Tone Pros locking tailpiece and bridge
Seymour Duncan 59s
Grovers

I made a few changes....just personal preference stuff.

Locking Grovers
Poker chip
Gibson style pickguard and truss rod cover
Pointers and gold speed knobs
Russian PIO capacitors
Switchcraft toggle (hard to believe they still used the cheap Chinese toggles?)

This guitar has a beefy 50s neck carve, just like my 2015 H535...I love it!!!   The fretwork is absolutely amazing!!!  Great, low action!   Plays like a dream!!!!  Its 9.5 lbs.

I normally dont like SD 59s, but this set sounds really good in this guitar!

The fit and finish are great!   Killer burst too!

Perfect top and burst, looks ideal.

Agree on all the mods but now the rings don't match the scratch guard. Bummer they don't inlay the headstock.

I found some old "3 hole" heritage rings that match a lot better

Did the Gibby guard fit directly or did you have to make any modifications.

I had to make mods to the guard so that I didnt have to drill additional holes in the guitar
