Did somebody say scrap? Sometimes you get scrap from a custom Heritage build.

That 'scrap' would make a gorgeous pickguard...or two.

The fancier the wood, the hotter the fire.  :)

This one made its way to New Zealand a few years back.

As gorgeous now as it was then...

some amazing guitar woods and finishes in this thread.  All are "favorite" worthy.  I've got an incoming that might make the list too - if we can have more than one.

This is not the one I play the most (that's a toss-up between the Mille and the H535), but it's my best looking Heritage.......

I'm like LK,   This is my "prettiest" Heritage.  Its not the one I play the most,  although for the past couple of months,  I've had it out on the stand.   I was trying to build up my endurance for PSP!     I guess I have an extra 12 months to bulk up....

Now I think about it, my favorite Heritage will always be the last one I played....

Always seems to be that way. I've always compared guitars to women, each one has their own special attributes. 😍

Um, yeah.  Some are higher-strung than others, though.

Guitars are like women when they are beautiful, desirable, and give us great joy.

And guitars are nothing like women, since they don't mind if we play around with other guitars.

You guys are very brave comparing guitars to women, especially since a few of them are HOC members.  Just sayin'.  :violent1:

Let's blame it on the guy who named his guitar "Lucille".

For reasons I'd rather not disclose, I've been compared to far worse things than a guitar.

Rich,

Looks like it was/is one piece of wood as each side is too much a perfect match to be book matched. If true, what is the center line about? Would it be a design highlight point like around the rims? BTW extraordinary design, one might say a magic ticket.

Yes Spectrum it is a design element that I have used on other Custom Heritage Guitars (a Heritage Prospect and a Heritage H170). The design around the sides mimicking the back was a great design element that Mr. Pete Farmer came up with. Mr. Pete Farmer always, always, always brings something to the party. A fun time was had by all of us creating this Fan guitar.

So much fun in that one guitar that I gave it a name "Super Light", that is engraved on the truss rod cover which was designed and drawn by me. It is very light. Carved spruce top, pickup made especially for this guitar, tone and volume controls hidden on the side of the Ebony pickguard, 4 mm pearl dot markers on an Ebony fretboard, medium size headstock, ghost stinger, 5-piece neck... and I've probably forgotten something.

Changed a word for clarification.
