Bcorig Posted September 13, 2020 Share Posted September 13, 2020 I changed my H 555 strings today and my habit is to take the cardboard string box and date it so I can remember what I have on the guitar and when the last change was made. So rummaging through the case today I found the original bill from Ed Roman Guitars when they were in Connecticut. I bought it in 2020 because I was Jonesing for an ES 335 but the Asking for that was $2800+. Ed Roman convinced me Heritage were being better produced than Gibbons’s (he hated Gibbons at the time). So I ordered the H555 with all Gibbons gold hardware with Schaller Pickups. I recalled paying $2100 The surprise today was the original invoice: Only $1610 with case and shipping $2445 today.
