New line of Glamorous Heritage Truss Rod Covers- Probably

I've been very impressed with ThaliasCapos, a family owned company that makes fancy truss rod covers.  They are sturdy, well made and pretty.  I've bought some for my G-brands (Gibbies and a Guild).  I was so impressed I ordered some Gretsch TRCs.

The MOPs that sometimes come with Heritages are beautiful but can be fragile.  These are half the price and are backed by two thin layers of wood.

I've been working with Andrew, one of the craftsmen at ThaliasCapos, to produce Heritage as a line for TRCs.  He sent me a template that looks good for size but needs a slight tweak on screw hole placement.  My hope is that he'll have a prototype soon.  If so and it works, I believe the company will open up all of their designs to fit Heritages.  Check out what they have.

I'm not making a thing off of whatever they sell, not even a complementary TRC.  I can't even promise they will make the Heritage line, but it does look like it.

Brian England's Custom Inlay, Inc. did a lot of Heritage custom truss rod covers over the years.

Philadelphia Luthier Tools did a nice job on the Custom Shop HOC H-137 truss rod covers.

Guit, did either of these companies do the small blocks on your custom?  I drove to Kalamazoo to get that factory photo of your guitar.  ;^)

The big surprise is how loud it is acoustically.  Like a flat top. Still a brain twister.

Recalling a very special visit from HOC'ers, Spectrum (Dan) and NickNickHall, once you started playing the H525, you refused to share it with Nick or me, clutching it to your bosom, making a (loud) joyful noise.    It is almost as loud as an H575!

Here's a close-up of a couple of the pearl mini-blocks done by Custom Inlay.  (And yes, I use flatwounds on this git).

Here is Marv taking me up to see Guit's guitar.  I was so mean to the Guit, I only sent the photos of the head stock at first.  It is a stunning guitar.  Where else could you have done this on a factory tour?

Thaliacapos is sending me a plastic blank with what we believe are the Heritage TRC dimensions.  We have gone back and forth trying to get this exactly right.  If this works, they will be able to make custom Heritage TRCs for you.

I got a couple of these for Gretsches.
