Deliriumcoffee
So I’ve owned a couple of Gibson Les Paul standards and had no issue with turning the thumb screws on the TOM bridges after putting a slack on the strings. However with my custom core I’m having a lot of issues turning the bridge thumbscrews even after putting a bunch of slack on the strings. Is there some special way of lowering the bridge on these gotoh TOM’s? Maybe I just need to put more elbow grease into it ha ha. Any tips would be appreciated thank you! davesultra
I believe you need to use a flathead screwdriver to remove the caps on top of the bridge. Those cap “Thingys” keep the bridge locked.
