Was setting up a new H-137 today and a bridge stud broke and the piece lodged in the bridge(pure junk). As I understand, Gibson parts should drop in. Anyone out there use Gibson parts or know of a drop in upgrade bridge assemble ?

Regards,

Kramer

Ouch!

I think Gotoh makes good quality replacements? Or Faber?

Somebody here with an H137 should have some specific advice though

Some of them have locking hex screws that bind the bridge to the studs.

While I have not changed the bridge on my 137, I do have another guitar that has a wrap-around bridge.  The Schaller Signum works great, fully innotatable saddles, and it has locks to prevent the bridge from tipping forward.
