pwmahon
Hi, I have just bought a H535 made in 2000. it has block inlays and all the other 535 images I can find have dot inlays-can anybody explain why this year has block inlays? Thanks in advance.
ledzeffer
Probably custom ordered. What does the label on the inside say?
TalismanRich
Is there binding on the headstock and an extra inlay? That would indicate that you have a 555, which is the upgraded version of the 535.
Millennium Maestro
Its not about the features this model had in a particular year, As a dealer I ordered several 535s built with block inlays on the neck, usually with bound and inlayed headstocks because I believed they looked classier and not too expensive as an upgrade. The original builder golden era was truly a boutique builder corporation, ask and they would build!!

brentrocks
This is a 2017. Originally ordered by Eddie’s Guitars. I bought it from Eddie’s in 3 pieces, after UPS broke it. I fixed it.
