[Did Schaller Do Anything Right?]

Are you sure these weren't Sperzel tuners?  I've had this exact problem with Sperzel tuners, which Wolfe ordered on his guitars for a while, but never with Schallers.

These were all my K'zoo guitars at the time the picture was taken (I've added a few more over the years).  The h550 was my first Heritage, and I think the oldest.

[Is Fulltone pedals back? :-)]

Cool.  Hearing that Fulltone was going out of production hit me as a sad moment, even though I'm pretty unlikely at this point in my life to buy a bunch more effects.  I'm pretty sure I had some sort of tube screamer effect before I got my first Full Drive -- but I've used a Fulldrive of some version for so long I honestly don't even remember what it was.   Glad to hear that good guitar guys have come together such that it can continue, and in the right way.
