tulk1
Hmmm, thinking I've asked this before. Butt ... I've hit that time in my life when the memory isn't as good as it was. Hmmm, thinking I've asked this before. Butt ... I've hit that time in my life when the memory isn't as good as it was. I know the letter stands for the year in the serial numbers. Whats the rest of it mean? Say your serial # was Q30001 or something like that. What's it all mean? Did I mention the memory thing?
big bob
I know the answer ... but I cant remember ... oh wait here it is The way to tell is that the first letter is the year, the first 3 numbers are the days left in the year when it was finished, and the last 2 numbers are the order in which a rack was finished in. Example: Y26703 (if accurate, but not)Y would mean it would be built in our 25th year(as you know we are not), the next 3 numbers are the days left in the year that it was built (zeros if less than 3 numbers), and the last 2 numbers being the order it was finished in off the rack. courtesy of buelaboones..
