tulk1
Just thought I'd share. After using an Audix Cab Grabber for a couple of years I got tired of the size and weight. It just never fit my gig bag well. It's a bit heavy. And since I use a Senn 609, not the best mic stand. At least not for me. A few months back I ran across the Amp Clamp. It can be mounted using a top/bottom clamp or a channel lock system. I use the lock system since it puts the mic in the exact same spot every time. Beats the heck out of a traditional or even short mic stand. I have my channel thingy mounted underneath rather than on the side as in this pic. Same idea, tho'. tulk1
Right now Tracy is using it. I just ordered her one of the amp clamps so, probably so after her new one arrives.
cobrafast1
I wonder if there is a problem with the device transmitting vibration from the walls of the cabinet to the microphone; thereby introducing additional unwanted noise into the microphone.
