tsp17 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hey all- Happy New Year. I love the sound of the old Dearmond Rhythm Chief 1000 and 1100. I played a Guild Artist Award with that pickup a while back and was blown away with that sound. I was thinking about putting a Kent Armstrong single coil in my incoming Eagle Classic. I’ll give the already installed PAF style humbucker a chance, but I’d like to explore the single coil sound in this archtop. Everything else I’ve got has a humbucker. I do need something that stays pretty clean. Thoughts? Other ideas?
