  1. Hi Y`all! my name is Andy and i own a 150 cm in antique cherry burst that i got from Mr Lamb back in 1990.

I love this guitar with all my heart and keep it by my side at all times. I used this guitar in a vid that was on headbangers ball

back in 94. I will never sell this guitar!

Welcome Andy. Would live to hear the story of the guitar from Marv. I was weaned on Southern Rock, it diffused up to the North East pretty well.

  2. Welcome Clump. I'm in the same boat re quitting for many years and taking up the instrument again. I'll wager we are not alone in that camp here. Wouldn't worry about it just have fun and be glad the flame is rekindled.

The 535 is a great 1st Heritage. It is the fav of many members. Stick around good bunch of folks here.

  3. New here. Old guy. Play for myself and family. Build amps part time but will go full time amps when I retire from my day gig in a few years. I own a 530 as my only Heritage. Also 2001 R8 Lester. 2011 56 Custom Shop Strat.

Welcome Scott. Lots of us are "of an age". Probably due to the popularity of guitar playing back in the 60's and 70's. Good to have another amp guy on the forum. Some of us like to tinker.

  4. Thank you for the warm welcome, I got my Heritage today and ironically got all my other guitars sold. I am running with a Marshall Handwired 2061X and 2x12 cabinet. Using the holy grail nano reverb, carbon copy MXR delay, and a new T-Rex MAB overdrive pedal. I cannot believe the quality of this Heritage, and after almost 7 years of trying to replace my Ernie Ball Steve Morse that I toured with for almost 14 years I can say I have finally done it.

Welcome Monk. Love your eclectic music interests you have listed.

  5. Hi,

I'm the happy owner of a beautiful H140CM Amber.

I purchased this guitar on Ebay in 2003

Hi Mike, Welcome to the club. Your 140 is very nice. Looks like a custom pick guard installed. The French Alps must be a beautiful. How's the weather now?

  6. Hello to all! My name is fullonshred. I just recently joined this lovely forum. My lone Heritage Guitar is an Original Sunburst H170cm. She was the 2nd guitar born on June 8th, of 1986 in the mystical Halls of 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo Michigan. I purchased her brand new from my local music store, took her home with me and we have been together ever since. She is still in beautiful shape, still plays, looks and sounds just great. I have never considered parting with her for even the briefest of moments. I plan to love her until I die.

Welcome to the club, sounds like you have a true piece of Parsons St history.

  7. Hi Everyone,

    What a GREAT site!

My name is Dave. I reside in beautiful Traverse City, MI.

I came across the HOC while researching Heritage guitars. I joined the forum because I am in search of (and lusting for) my first Heritage and I needed advice on which model to buy. By the way, thanks to everyone who has replied to my posting. You have been very friendly and very helpful!

I started playing about a year ago.

I am a lefty. I tried to learn to play right-handed but, from a guitar buying standpoint, I am cursed.

    I currently own a '62 MIJ Strat RI, and a Martin ooo-15S. Now it's time for a made-in-Michigan Heritage.

Hopefully, very soon, I'll be posting pics of my first Heritage.

    Regards,

    Dave

Welcome to the club Dave. My young son is a lefty, I will need to learn how to teach him stuff backwards I suppose. Bought him a righty little Martin when he was 3, his sister has been using it.
