slider313 Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 I picked up a set of Lollar Imperials for my R8. Long story short,the R8 is a bright guitar and the Lollars didn't work well in it. Next up,remove the 57 classics from my 140 and try the Lollars in there. To my ears, the Lollars sound clinical in the 140. The 57's just had better harmonics and "character". Now what! > So I put the 57's back in my R8,sell the Lollars on TGP and buy another set of 57's on the bay. I found someone selling them new (without the boxes) for $120.a set. Such a deal !!
