BOSS LS-2 on the acoustic board

Just added a BOSS LS-2 to the acoustic pedal board. It's basically an inline effects loop. But can be used otherwise. I run the banjo, mandolin and fiddle all off the same pedal board. I had an AB box, which was working okay until I added the fiddle. But even before that, I had a problem that the banjo is SO much louder than the mandolin. I had to run a clean boost just for when the mandolin was being played. Then I saw the LS-2 mentioned on the Tele forum where a player was looking to hook up 3 guitars to one output.

 

The LS-2 has a Line In, Return A and Return B. Which is effectively 3 inputs. With volume controls!! on the A and B inputs. How perfect! Mounted it to the board last night and tried it out. It's just what I was looking for. I have the banjo (loudest) in the IN. The mandolin goes in A, the fiddle in B. There are indicators when either A or B are active; Line In is active when the others aren't. For me, it was quite the find.
