I am formulating a new build, and I am taking pieces of various instruments I have known and loved over the years in an effort to see what my ideal neck shape would be. Polo Posted July 17, 2016 Share Posted July 17, 2016 The "standard" Heritage neck carve will always vary from build to build as they are hand sanded. It's pretty common to find 50's style necks on the stock models these days but a lot the guitars built before 2008 seem to have a more slim 60s feel in my experience.
