To install it there on an H575, it needs to go back to the factory to have the wood reinforced; otherwise, it'll split. Yep, that's where the button is on my "new" 1991 575 too. It's very comfortable. My Super Eagle has the button on the inside of the block (so the screw is going towards the upper bout). The Guitar Shop in DC, a Heritage dealer, recommended this since this is the most stable area of wood in the guitar. It also tilts the guitar into the correct "classical" angled position. This makes the big 18" Super Eagle more playable, but might be overkill with a smaller 575. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
