  1. Well, maybe not new... or a custom core, but it is a great guitar that is every bit as nice as any that has come off the dock of 225 Parsons. I think it is a 2006 or 2007. New people to the Heritage brand -you can get some fantastic guitars for a very good price these days.

  2. I would like to give a special shout-out to the members of this forum. This is a great place for many things. Encouragement, advice, opinions, information, and support. Thanks to all of you, I have made my Standard H-150 into a killer guitar. I have changed the tuners, bridge, tailpiece, and the most intimidating mods, the pickups and caps. And I did it all myself. No waiting for someone else to do it for me. You guys (and ladies) are great. You know who you are.

  4. Hello all, I’m new here! In real life two of my favorite things are coffee and guitar. I just recently bought a custom core h-150 in dirty lemon burst… I posted some pics in another thread, here’s one of the pics of from my NGD lol

  6. So today I took the leap. SD 59d are gone, replaced with Wolfetone Legends. What an upgrade! Wolfe in truly an artist. So my Standard H-150 in now complete. Tuners replaced with Grover locking tuners with tulip buttons. TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece installed. PIO caps installed, thanks to PunkKitty. Get rid of pickguard that covers up beautiful flame. Plus, my control cavity cover now has the proper label it should have come with. I can't believe I was so worried about doing a little wiring and soldering. It's really not a big deal.

  15. Hi, I play "On Green Dolphine Street" with my Sweet16 If you have time, Please listen to it. Recently I realize how hard to find other Sweet16. Even Reverb has zero sweet16 now. I really regret not get another one in modest price some years ago 😖

  16. That's how they get guitarists to turn down as we all know.

  17. @busujiujitsu...Well done!! I remember my first time playing "Green Dolphin Street", sitting in with a jazz trio (Piano, Double Bass and Drums) several years ago. I was not familiar with it, but they wanted to open with that tune. I was playing my then, brand new Heritage H555 into a Peavey Delta Blues 1x15 amp. (Killer rig!) They put the chart on my music stand, counted off and began. Yikes! Somehow I made it through, even faking a Wes-style solo, following the chord changes. Afterwards, I breathed a sigh of relief that it was over. The rest of the evening was a blur, and I even had fun. But it made me aware of the need to learn and practice standards. Your rendition is 10000% better than I played back in the day. LOL! Keep up the good work.

  18. It's great to see H-555's being custom ordered. I can't wait to get my 2007 back to work again doing what its made for.
