if it plays and sound ok , then it's a good gig guitar you don't have to worry about dinging.
You could restore it to it's original glory as well .. glad you got it.
I'm a collector and have an H575C , I'd agree with $4k as it is one of the early ones still built by the Masters. The are exquisite instruments

'59 in the neck Seth in the bridge .. perfect set for this instrument. I have many PAF's in my collection , these are among my fave's. Lollar's and Fralin's are my other go to choices.
Good day to all, I'm happy to own a H575 C for the past 7 years and just picked up a H535 in trans black (2017 model) . I've been playing for 46 years and have spend the last 23 as a small scale Luthier.
