I'd think most recording software would handle this with ease. Just record your drums on one track, then play/record your guitar tracks while listening to the drums track. That's basically how all my recordings are made.
Reaper is excellent software for this purpose, and is free (well, in theory you're supposed to pay $60 for it after a trial period, but it can still be used whether or not you pay for it).

Perhaps ASB Antique Sunburst?

$1K for a couple of pickups? You could likely buy a decent guitar for that. Obviously Gibson is not a not-for-profit organization. Pass.

The footwear (if any) you have on while standing may have something to do with it. Yes, I'm grasping at straws. But try different shoes, or no shoes, and see if anything changes. Of course, it could just be your electrifying personality at work here.

My first reaction to this would be static electricity as well. Had a Kirn Tele that drove me nuts....just touching the (plastic) pickguard would cause the noise. Lining the underside of said pickguard with aluminum foil and making sure the foil was grounded to the control plate solved the problem, but I have no idea how you'd improve the grounding on a semi-hollow. Perhaps the humidity level where you're playing is low?

Really good. To be able to play like that without constantly looking at your left hand is indeed impressive.

Yeah, the Ascent Centurion should be awesome!

As far as street value goes, I can't think of anyone more qualified than our own Brentrocks.

My old eyes are seeing a different finish on the back of the headstock compared to the back of the neck. If the back of the headstock was at some point refinished, someone may have decided to do away with the serial number, assuming there was one. Speculation's free, right?
Does the H150 sound different than a G brand LP?

Well said, Kuz.
My take on the whole thread is this: Who cares?
So an H150 might sound different from a Gibson LP. So what? That doesn't make it a bad or undesirable guitar. The entire 'holy grail' thing about LP tone is utter nonsense. Why should that be the standard by which everything else is judged?
I think people should look at how much they enjoy an instrument's playability first--if you don't enjoy playing it, you're not likely to play it--, and maybe its sound later. Sound can be altered in so many ways from pickups to pedals to amps to amp settings, and I think it's pointless to chase after some mythical sound they think they hear from something manufactured 65 years ago.
