I've heard charcoal absorbs odors. I wouldn't leave it in contact with the gtr though. Maybe put the gtr in a closet with a hanging mesh bag full of charcoal?
Home Depot sells small bags of activated charcoal. Leave a few of the bags in the case. The bags won't harm the guitar. Baking soda also absorbs odors. Sprinkle baking soda in the case and let it sit for a few days. Vacuum and repeat. As for the guitar, let it sit out in the open on a stand or hang on the wall. The smell will clear up in a few weeks. I one bought a Millennium with a bad smoke problem. These are the tactics I used.

The 357 is Marv's baby. IMO, they should ask Marv for his blessing before bringing it back as a matter of respect. I'd like to see the 157 and the 150LW come back.

If you can find a used set of JS Moore PAF's I highly recommend them. To my ears, they are on par with Throbaks at a fraction of the price. I don't know if he is still winding or not, but it's worth in. I'm also very partial to Wolfetone pickups. I have a used set of Bare Knuckle Mules in my 150. I was thinking of swapping them out, so I'll be putting them up for sale. Let me know if you’re interested. If you want really clear pickups and you don't mind something unorthodox, look into Lace Alumitones. I have a set in my other 150 and I absolutely love them. I put a set of flat nickel covers on them with double stick tape to match the rest of the hardware.

I built this one a few weeks ago with an Allen Eden alder body and a MIJ 87 Squier neck. After reading this, I upgraded the bridge pickup to a BG1400 with a Duncan P90 that I had in the parts drawer. Holy cow! This combination screams! At some point, I may decide to rebuild this with a swamp ash body (it would have to be slightly worn shell pink) to make it lighter. But this guitar is amazing!

It's a Heritage H-150 Custom Core with weight relief. Definitely a custom made model.

Thanks for your hard, and probably tedious, work. Have a great holiday season!

Avoid Hipshots. The tuners are great, but the Heritage headstock is slightly thicker than Gibsons. The Hipshots are too short.
I'd stick with Grover, Kluson, Gotoh, and Ratios.

Hi and welcome. That was me. This is a 2007 H-535 Vintage Sunburst with HRW pickups. It's a beautiful instrument. The pickups are the gold bar things under the strings on the body. From what I'm seeing on Reverb.com, I'd put this in the $2500 to $3500 range. If you are going to sell it, try posting it on this forum first. You will have to figure out a price, keeping in mind that it will cost about $100 to ship it. Get help from a music store or someone who knows how to ship a guitar so it doesn't get damaged in shipping.

I also have a zebra set of Pearly Gates that I'm about to list for sale.

You might consider Fralin P92's. They are Lindy's version of a noiseless P90. Great sounding pickups.

Thank you. I know how rare the H-357 are, that’s why I bought it, even though I’m not excited about the color. But it sounds great and that’s the most important to me.
And thank you for your support regarding selling the H-150. ?I live in Bavaria, but only for the last 4 years. I come from the Czech Republic.
Two beautiful places. I've been to Bavaria a few times. Also spent some time in Praha.
