brentrocks Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 i'm not familliar w/ Moores solo stuff, just the Thin Lizzy stuff, but the SD Alnico Pro IIs i just put in the GM, i think, are very good for that style of music. a lot has to do with your rig too....the pups are just a small part. jamison162 Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 In my opinion, the 59's are too aggressive esp. in a Heritage. Unless yours is ultra lightweight or chambered. I bought my WCR's used. I have a Godwood Bridge, Darkburst Bridge, and a Crossorads Neck. Best pickups I've heard. I've had Wolfetones, SD, the stock Golden Age, etc. I still haven't tried my Sheptones that I bought weeks ago..... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
