barrymclark
It was a Superdrive 18. That is quite an amp! VERY touch sensitive. Any inconsistencies in your playing will be laid bare with this amp. Needless to say, I found some. haha. Anyways, for a smoky jazz, blues of about any type to even the harder rock tones, this is quite an amp. To put it in perspective, my Jet City JCA20H, which sounds VERY good, is not NEARLY as articulate and a bit of a one trick pony like the Soldano is was designed after. What it does, it does very, very well. ...but it doesn't do much else. The Budda does a few more things. Price wise, it is up there with the Soldanos of similar type. About a grand for the head. The cabs are notably cheaper. So... all in all, you will come out cheaper than with a Soldano but just the head alone is about he same price.
