golferwave
good looking pickups in a nice H-140 goldtop. Anyone have these pups?
shook494
I am seriously looking at these two sets. Fat Diane or Fat Goat's. The Goat's are humbucker size single coils. Fat Diane Fat Goat
golferwave
They really look interesting and the price is pretty decent. Give us a report if you buy a set.
slider313
I have a set of Micks "Fat Dianes" in my R8. This guitar is very bright and "snappy" and after trying four different sets of pickups I found the tone of the FD's compliment this guitar perfectly. These seem to give you a warm tone with just the right amount of mids and clarity without getting muddy. I also have a set of his Landmark PAF's which have a little less output and more mids on tap. They also sound great in my R8 but the FD's get a more "woody" tone. Micks prices are more than a bargin for the quality of pickup he winds, and he's easy to work with.
