Turbo
As I understand it, they once were but are no longer PLEK'd. Right? I have a 2001 535 and it has a nice neck and fret job. Was wondering if it was PLEK'd at the factory.

tulk1
I thought it was '05. Looking back thru the "plek" search someone else suggested '03. So .... gee, we don't really know.
Kuz
I don't know for sure, but I would bet 2001 is BEFORE Heritage started pleking. FWIW, I can't tell the difference between my plek'd and not plek'd guitars.
tulk1
FWIW, I can't tell the difference between my plek'd and not plek'd guitars. Ditto for me. 2001 Millie - BP 2007 535 - DP 2009 Millie NFH - AP All play very well.

Steiner
A double dog dare!!! Oh Look! It says Fragile! It must be from France!!! I Always wanted one of those leg lamps in the front window. I played a Heritage years ago that was so easy to fret - I had to run away. Don't know if it was Plek'd or not; sure piqued my curiosity about Heritage. smurph1
My 85 140 frets like a dream..So I guess the question is..Is Plekking (Is that a word?) necessary..They talk about total accuracy and eliminating human error, but it seems like the old way was a good way as well..Yes I am an old fogey who hates change, but really if it "Aint Broke, don't fix it" That G company made a lot of awesome guitars for years without it..Is it just a sales mechanism? Discuss..LOL
AnH555
I read that Heritage started plek'ing in 2003; they were all Plek'ed from 2004 on. Until....Mid 2008? It was discussed pretty thoroughly here: http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/i...opic,282.0.html
