skydog
Does anyone have any info on this model. Is it still available?
soybean
Ummm… more info please. Thinline is usually a type of guitar, not a model. For instance Gibson, Eastman and Epiphone make thinline guitars. Heritage makes many.
skydog
The model I was wondering about was listed as a 535 thinline series. the fact that the seller mentioned thinline led me to believe that it was a distinct line different than the usual 535. yes, no, maybe? AnH555
I think "thinline" has become sort of a generic term, that originally Gibson came up with. The ES 335 is a Gibson thinline. But Heritage makes some solidbodies that are thinner than standard. H140.JPG H140.JPG_thumb
Dick Seacup
Is that a 140 with a Bigsby?

soybean
the fact that the seller mentioned thinline led me to believe that it was a distinct line different than the usual 535. yes, no, maybe? That should be the same as a regular 535.
doggy1972
My H170 has the thinner body. I think the term thinline usually applies to semis (as in tele thinline) but, I could be wrong. That 140 looks nice. Any more pics of it?
AnH555
OK. It's up for auction on ebay, if you want the whole story. 0389_1.JPG 0389_1.JPG_thumb
DrFrankStein
That 140 has plenty of (bad pun warning) VIBE!
jacques
Just look at the subtlety with which AnH555 launches his advertisement for a green H140 with Bigsby. ;D I am not going to buy it (no money and too far away) but I sometimes secretly wonder how such a bigsby equipped Les Paul-style (or a 535 thinline for that matter) sounds. I recently got hooked on a tremolo when I take the lead and since then my beautiful hardtails are not played as much. Anybody have clips with such noise? yoslate
I'm normally a traditionalist, but that green 140 is really tough lookin'! To play anything like that out, I'd have to grow an Eddie Cochran DA and show up in a chopped, channeled '50 Merc!
