DetroitBlues Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Man, some of what I said was over statement and hyperbole. I was having a rant and some of it was me being what I imagine ironic might be. My advice, with my limited experience and ability in that area, to record anything, just buy a good mic and a good recording device and practice pointing the mic at the amp until it sounds right. If it doesnt seem to be getting there, try the amp dials. The guys I know that seem to consistently capture good guitar noises really worked hard and practiced at capturing and recording good guitar noises at some stage. I'd like to try it by just cranking an amp, but I don't have the space to do that... At least not when the family is home... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
