  1. A little over 10 years ago, I contacted the owner of this #5, who was a member of HOC, to see if he would be interested in selling it. He shared that it was purchased during the PSP trip and was not ready to sell. I had taken a hiatus recently for a few months from the forums and market due to life changes. I checked back in and saw #5 on Wolfe Guitars and immediately purchased it. The next morning I was contacted by their staff and notified that the guitar had previously been sold but kept reappearing due to a technical glitch on the website. So I was refunded. It may have been before this banner appeared on their site, but I didn't notice because of the excitement of finding the instrument; the same one I had tried to purchase several years before. 😢The elusive Heritage H-140 25th Anniversary 😭
  2. Thank you DetroitBlues for the additional photos from the seller and Skydog53 for reaching out to Marv. It is a unique instrument, but I'll continue on my fourteen year search for the elusive H-140 25th Anniversary. I just missed one and have been feeling very emotional lately. Thanks again everyone.
  3. The listing is for an Original Sunburst but the control plate indicates Vintage Wine Burst (VWB ?). Based on the solders, it was the end of the day and the iron should have been cleaned before the job.
  4. I'm six hours from the location of this instrument; 15 hours from Michigan.
  5. It would be nice to get the information directly from one of the owners. I'm sure there are interesting details in the build that the photos or sellers description do not capture. Pete F. may also have information on the build. It's only a six hour drive for me. That may quicker than asking for photos of the guitar's neck and back ;^)

  7. Yes, that is the listing on Reverb. The shop quotes the standard specs from the Heritage website but also notes there were only 4 produced. The listing appears to show a 2 piece neck. I'm sure there may be other special features.
  8. Does anyone have information on this run of 4 with The Heritage owner's names (JP, Bill, Marv, and Jim) engraved on the head-stock? I am interested in any other distinguishing features. Based on the serial number the run occurred around 2016. Did a specific luthier oversee the builds? Thank you for any insight.
