tsp17
I played my chambered 150 at a block party over the weekend and was digging it. Amp settings (Bass/Mid/Treb/Gain) virtually even across the board (all at 12 o'clock), with some reverb. Playing straight ahead jazz it sounded great, a little on the "electric" side of jazz. Got no complaints from the band. In fact, the leader asked me to turn it up. Playing very early this morning i dialed down the gain to about 8-9 o'clock, and low and behold a very acoustic sound emerged. More sustain and not as "thuddy" as an archtop, but clear and articulate, woody and warm. Needless to say, I was late to work....

Thundersteel
I used to own one (played it at PSP II). They have a very "woody" tone to them.
