DetroitBlues Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 After lugging around the Peavey Deltablues, I'm seriously considering scaling back down to a Fender Superchamp X2 head. Then I can carry either a 1x12 cab or 2x12 depending on my needs.... However, just like first year runs of a car, new amps tend to have bugs in them that need to be worked out. With the SCX2 having the Fuse software ability, it scares me a bit to have computer chips in an amp.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only thing I didn't like was it being a 1x10 combo... Now that they make it as a head cab, mixing and matching extension cab's sounds like a great idea and less weight.... There are some drawbacks though... Only a single 8ohm output. They should of make it 4, 8, & 16 outputs plus have up to two outputs so you can run more than one cabinet. Currently, its 2nd output is meant for going to a PA or Mixer, not a speaker cabinet.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
