Besty
I own a Collins i35 and just love it. I also have a h-535 and love the playability. I’m thinking of purchasing a Prospect so I wonder is a Prospect kinda the same version as a Gibson es339 or Collings i35.
skydog52
The Standard Prospect came with a floating block but could be ordered with a solid block. I don't know specs on ES339 or I35 but I think they are pretty close in size and construction. I have a Prospect and a couple Academy models and love them, great tone and comfortable playing. The Academy is the single cut version of the Prospect. PM me if you want some pics. Some specs from a ad. https://eddiesguitars.com/electric-guitars/heritage-prospect-vintage-sunburst-ag21904
CJTopes
I have a ES-336 and a Prospect. The Prospect is bigger then the 336 (which is the same size as a 339) The 336 is solid block as mentioned. Tonally they are different. Ones not better then the other, they are just two different animals.
