WorstBandName
I bought a Custom Core H-150 pretty soon after they were released. I recall they were listed as all coming in under 8.5 pounds and most I saw were. I was recently looking around for another Custom Core (as I traded the first one off in a multi-guitar deal). I found a Pelham Blue one around 8.4 pounds but most I saw were 8.75 to to just under 9 pounds. Those are still great singlecut weights for sure, but I was wondering if the under 8.5 pounds things is no longer something for Custom Cores? I could not find anything written on their website about it as well which made me think getting them in under that weight was harder than anticipated and was no longer a standard feature as opposed to just using ultra-lightewight mahogany. davesultra
My understanding was that they were no longer guaranteeing 8.5 lb. & under. on the CC models.

That's what I figured, but I have been a little out of the loop on Heritage for a year or two now. Less than 9 pounds is still solid though. lwilliams
The CC I just bought is 8 lbs 10 oz. I consider that a good weight.
