barrymclark
In my quest for a Heritage, I am trying to nail down exactly what it is I want to order. Does any one have any pics of a highly figured (quilted or flamed) maple top with a transparent blue or black? I saw someone (brentrocks) on here had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL trans-green one. Thundersteel
Is it yours T-steel? Don't I wish! It IS for sale, though. I saw it over at the Hamer Fan Club. It's VERY tempting, but it's too much coin for me.

Was The Punisher Standard trans black? I cannot remember, but I think it was, as well.

barrymclark
After looking at all those pics in Photobucket, I am going for the ol' Tuxedo. I remember seeing a Gibby dressed up like that years ago when I sold them at Guitar Center and thought that was the slickest guitar I had ever seen. So, many of my guitars will be hitting eBay over the next couple of months in an attempt to fund it. haha.
guitarjump
I'd love to get a trans-black, myself. It's a tricky finish, though. As someone stated, it can often hide flame. Also, if it' s too weak, it looks more like trans-brown. The most successful ones were more like a trans-grey - though I've only seen G-word ones like that, no Heritages. barrymclark
Yeah. They do look slick. I think though, that they old classic black is the one I will look at no matter what I am into and say, "yes" to. You know? Just simple elegance. guitarjump
Yep, you can't beat basic black. Cool thing about black is you can dress it up (thinking more about Fenders, etc. ) with pickguards and other trim - and everything looks good with it. barrymclark
Prolly gonna leave 'er bone stock. Just black with the triple humbuckers. That'd be sooooo gnarly... I mean... seriously.

Dick Seacup
David Paul Prototype That is an interesting looking guitar. How are the controls set up? Specifically, that knob on the upper bout.
Kuz
That is an interesting looking guitar. How are the controls set up? Specifically, that knob on the upper bout. Probably a Master Volume (quick kill volume knob). That's my guess anyhow.
Dick Seacup
Probably a Master Volume (quick kill volume knob). That's my guess anyhow. I was hoping it was a five-way rotary or something. LOL.

Dick Seacup
Kuz is correct. It is a master volumne control. Being as it's a prototype and all, would your real name happen to start with a 'd', end with an 'e' and have an 'av' in the middle?
tulk1
Not a huge fan of blue guitars. But that one is very nice.
Paul P
I like the idea of a master volume. Why aren't they more common ?
