Yankeefan01
Anybody out there have any Heritage related news or pictures from the NAMM show? Did anybody here go?
JohnCovach
There's a nice post on TGP that organizes some of the internet info that's out there: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=341659
Dick Seacup
Some of the guys from the Hamer Museum went out to NAMM. I found this in one of their galleries (thanks, Teefus!): http://www.hamermuseum.com/forum/uploads/1138234639/gallery_234_37_3986.jpg[/img]
yoslate
Thanks for that post, Dick! I have a decided prejudice for Heritage, as we all do, and for good reason. Looking at that photo reminds me of why. Just helplessly dangling there, in what appears to be a pretty jack-leg display, those pieces are still stunning ! What will those three guitars mean in thirty-five years? I only wish the photo showed the more broad context of the whole "display." That would probably light the HOC up for a couple of days! I'm operating on the assumption that those three guitars were the whole display! :-
SouthpawGuy
:o :o WOW ! The 157 is ridiculously gorgeous I'd probably spend more time looking at that than playing it, of course I'm left handed and it's not, :- Is that a special finish for the show or is it generally available ? Looks like a copper golden bubble burst to me !
yoslate
Uh.... uh...uhh.... I tend to miss the obvious when it doesn't jive with my notion of the way things should be. Thanks for the course correction, Dick. Of course....
Thundersteel
You'd think they would have something about NAMM on their website! But maybe that's just wishful thinking...
yoslate
bubble burst Jeeze, I hope not!!! That's really funny...or kind of tragic, depending on your point of view, Southpaw.... Looks like the burnt amber finish, no?
SouthpawGuy
Ooops ... unintended double whammy there. Found another shot of the Heritage NAMM display on Harmony Central http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh98/SouthpawGuy/2205820564_1ee106d9a9_b.jpg[/img] Nice guitars, the display is very low key. JohnCovach
The display may be small, but this is very encouraging.
